CASE FILE: CRESSIDA BRANDO

  Born amongst sand and antiquity,   Cressida is one of two daughters sired by DIO with her mother, Cordelia Eldridge, during the events of Stardust Crusaders. Strangely, DIO takes an interest in his progeny; whether it has to due to the fact that he fathered two children with a servant or proximity, no one is sure. But the fact remains that Cressida is one of two of his acknowledged children, if not his apparent heir. And, as a result of being raised by him, she grows with DIO’s sense of entitlement, fearmongering, and pride due to living with such a man.In all regards, living in her father’s mansion, she was considered spoiled; much of her personality growing up revolves around impressing her father. However, with the manifestations of both her and her sister Stands', DIO considered them to be prodigies. As such, growing up, DIO lead by example — teaching them how to fight hand-to-hand, utilize their Stands, and learn from his mistakes. As user of Heart of Glass, Cressida is considered a formidable adversary, as well as manipulative with a sharp sense of cunning. Additionally, Cressida is the ringleader of the group known as Daughters of DIO, a group consisting of her and Leila that seek out Stand users for their father.

Cordelia Eldridge becomes pregnant during the events of Stardust Crusaders, but rather than remaining by DIO's side, flees right before the Crusaders arrival. After DIO's inevitable defeat, she raises Cressida and her sister as a single mother and attempting to evade the eyes of the Speedwagon Foundation.
